During the tour we work with 3 seperate communities
in three seperate areas.
Cape Town
Work for Love
Work for Love is an outreach program of the Imhoff
Waldorf School, a crèche support program
in which volunteers are providing educational and/or
stimulating input on a weekly basis. There is a
huge need for regular stimulation amongst Masiphumele
children. Our challenge is be examples for these
youngsters who need to become a generation of hope,
new opportunity and love.
Jeffrey's Bay
The Joshua Project
The Joshua Project is a safe haven for vulnerable
children and children living on the street to receive
love, support, education, and training.
Through consistent relationships and education-based
programs, we seek to help these children to realize
and develop their unique talents; to become healthy,
responsible adults and a productive part of the
work force and community.
Transkei
Gwexintaba Village
The Mpondo people living here have remained isolated
since the 19th Century and continue with their lively
cultural way of living. Three and a half years ago
a road was build through the Goso State Forest and
the first long drop toilet ever was built in the
village. 50%FTP's involvement here is working on
the Permaculture Garden.
