Accommodation & Meals

Accommodation is provided in comfortable backpackers along the coast, or in the case of the Transkei leg, in spacious tents and in traditional African huts.

The majority of evenings will be spent at
Chill & Surf Backpackers
in Cape Town, and Ubuntu Lodge in Jeffrey's Bay, while a magical week will be spent discovering the nature and community of rural Transkei where volunteers will spend a night in the village of the local community. The nights in between will be spent at quality backpackers en-route.

All accommodations are in safe, beautiful areas with direct telephone access, and most have internet facilities.

Meals throughout the trip are included. This means
Breakfast - cereals, fruit, toast tea/coffee (English Breakfast fry-up on Sundays)
Lunch - rolls/salads/pies & fruit
Dinner - Hearty South African meals such as Braai's, stews, soups, curries as well as pasta, pizza, hamburgers. Vegetarian options available.

For those with above average appetites there will be opportunities to purchase extra snacks.

Please email us with special diet requests
